The state of Ohio has awarded The Lillian and Betty Ratner Montessori School in Pepper Pike with a 5-star Step Up To Quality rating for meeting standards established by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Step Up To Quality is a 5-star quality rating system that promotes learning and development in early childhood programs and improves educational outcomes.
Ratner Montessori’s Toddler and Children’s House Director, Becca Ucker, credits the school’s faculty and administrators with this achievement.
“The faculty and staff at Ratner have proven themselves to be exceptional stewards of our program. The amount of professional investment that goes into achieving 5-star status is tremendous, and Ratner’s faculty and staff rose to the occasion with the same dedication they show to students each and every day.”
Head of School Michael Griffith adds that the 5-star rating “affirms Ratner Montessori School’s commitment to providing children an outstanding learning environment. Our Toddler program and 3 to 6-year old Children’s House is run by an exceptional faculty and staff and is supported by a deeply caring and committed parent community. I congratulate Becca and all our Toddler and Children’s House teachers on this outstanding accomplishment.”
